Humans or demons Unwavering care ,unchanging concerns, unrequited love. A never ending affair, shared between a king and mankind. Relations between human and ant so impossible , simply unthinkable. Just as a king would be with a slave girl. Yet a king fell in love with his slave. Born a king he lived with everything. Nothing he needed cause all was given. Yet all he wanted was the love and acknowledgement of the poorest of the poor. A slave girl so ordinary maybe even ugly, yet she's his only mission. Forbidden love , so impossible, simply unthinkable , but how could the king hold back such great love. A love that grows day by day it overflows as it fills up his heart. A king so mighty and great, with a simple snap he could marry her over. Yet that's not what he wanted , he wanted something more precious, he wants her heart and her desires. He wanted her to love him too. So a plan he sets up, a plan to steal her heart. Ready to do anything , even at a price of everything. He gave her everything , he waited everyday, he sits in his room oh so patiently. As time progresses he sees her in danger , his enemy pursues her. His enemies too wanted her . But they did not love her , they did not care for her, all they wanted was to spite him. They wooed her slowly, with words so sweet, they gave her security that seemed so stable. They painted her pictures of their might be future, they gave her ideas of love and happiness. The king saw all that happened, yet he did not wish to imprison her, even as she ignored him. he respected her freedom to choose what she wanted. He knew times are drastic he worries for her future, what would happen when they won her over ? Would they love and protect her? Or would they play and torture her? He needed a plan, to show her his love , with hopes she might choose him ,so he may protect her with his sincere love. Without hesitating without over thinking , he gave up everything . He threw away his crown , he released his status. All his riches he left behind. He gave it all up to be a slave, so he may stand beside his slave girl and accompany her always. He worked and toiled and did all slaves had to do. Yet he never complained or regretted at all. He was glad he was happy to be by her side was all that matters. With such sacrifice he knew came a price , enemies could attack him when he is all so vulnerable . His brother took over the throne and protected him thoroughly. But his enemies mocked him they spat at his "folly". "All for a slave girl" they mocked but he would just smile , the didn't understand how much he loved her. Eventually, he knew ,his enemies would come up to somehow take her away just to break his vulnerable heart. Somehow they would try to still steal her away, lure her towards them with their lies and deceit. But he smiled and planned he knew what he had to do, so that one day he might save her from them. The day finally arrived, they accused and slandered . They demanded for hostages at threats of a war. They demanded for the slave girl that she follows them, in the name of peace between the two kingdoms they claimed. The kings brother was in stress what would he do? But the king stepped up and offered himself for her. In her place he would go , with his enemies he'd follow. Willingly he took her place , willingly he followed. He knew of their hatred , the hatred they bored towards him yet he still chose to go so she may stay protected in his kingdom. He left with his enemies. One last time he looks over, he looks at his slave girl , he smiles and leaves maybe for forever. Abused , beaten and mistreated . He stayed with his enemies yet he was happy and delighted , cause he knows she's safe with his brothers and sisters , she is safe in his kingdom. One day he'd return and be reunited :) that day will come where he'd marry her. That day would come where she'd want him too. All he hopes for now is that she stays happy . Maybe she'd even love him soon. But it doesn't matter as long as she's happy, the king would do anything and everything to keep her safe to keep her happy to see a smile on her face. As long as she stays in his kingdom , as long as she allows his protection, his enemies can't get her , their lies won't reach her . She won't have to suffer . They can't hurt her. Lies are easy to believe , the enemies are always too cunning to be uncovered. But with such love from the king why would that slave girl need more? | ||
